Privacy Policy

Koast Golf (“we”, “us”) makes Milestone Markers: golf ball markers with an NFC chip that open a page on m.koastgolf.com. This policy explains what we collect through koastgolf.com and m.koastgolf.com, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

• When you log a round on a marker: your name, email address, score, course, the date you played, and the names of anyone you list as playing partners.
• When you join our list: your email address and, if you choose one, the milestone you are chasing.
• Photos: a photo you add to your milestone card stays on your phone. It is used to draw the card in your browser and is never uploaded to us.

Who can see it

The round you log on a marker (your name, score, course, date and partners) is shown to anyone who taps that marker or opens its link. That is how the marker remembers your day. Your email address is never shown publicly. Please only list playing partners who are happy to be named.

How we use it

• To save your round to your marker and show your card when the marker is tapped.
• To link a marker to its owner, so we can help if there is a mistake or a dispute.
• To email you about Koast Golf products and launches if you joined our list. Every email has a way to unsubscribe.

We do not sell your information or share it with advertisers.

Where it is stored

Our site and database run on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may store and process data on servers outside Australia. Pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your device’s IP address when the page loads. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, including a round logged on your marker, or to be removed from our list. Email info@koastgolf.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
